@@Playam Yeah, I figured I should mention it because I thought that the way their armor worked meant if I used something with penetration (Any weapon that has [PT] next to it’s damage) than it would penetrate the armor to damage the limb underneath. Just like how PT weapons will punch through enemies if they’re standing in a line. Yeah, I wasn’t exactly RIGHT because the armor is ablative, and any extra damage done to destroy one layer of armor doesn’t carry over to the next layer or the body underneath. But since the shotguns are PT but more importantly track the damage pellet-by-pellet, it means once 1 layer of armor breaks from getting hit with enough pellets, the rest of the pellets hit the next layer until THAT breaks, and then so on. I was a MIGHT irritated when I tried using a FANG Sniper Rifle to headshot the aliens with thousands of damage, only to just knock off part of their helmet with every shot.😅

I'm glad you like this game As someone who came here expecting something to blow my democratic socks off (as per the title of the vid) I am severely dissapointed.

They stopped nerfing a while ago, in fact, that last patch was mostly buffs. 🤦‍♂️ Yall complaining about nonexistent issues smh.

I mean, you can find the nerfs annoying if you want. I personally don't mind them one bit and saw them coming ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm surprised the a/c never got nerfed, but hey I'm not a whingey, moaning complainer about tiny little details like that when the rest of the game is GOBSMACKINGLY AMAZING. This game looks awful visually, zero immersion, terrible physics engine, boring environments, and the animations are 2001 quality (HALO: CE release date) I'm all for showing off HD2's competition - I'd love to see the game market bring other titles to the table even better than HD2. But this game? This is just NOT it at all

@@MyopicPowerhouse most weapons being useless with the "op" weapons being just "viable" isn't little details, yes helldivers 2 is great and both HD2 and EDF shouldn't be compared due to vast differences, but these complaints are not "tiny" when it's a common community uproar that i literally hear whenever i look into the comments of a helldivers 2 update showcase/trailer/review Also EDF isn't about "high graphics" or "immersion", it's entirely about the gameplay and that's what makes EDF, they intentionally do these things because it is apart of their identity

​@@Playam I think you should do more than just pin it.... just based on watching it, this game: -Looks terrible visually (textures) -Takes place in boring environments -Has an awful physics engine -Has unsatisfying animations -Has a thematic experience with extremely poor immersion (unlike Helldivers 2 which has AMAZING immersion) So far, your claim is not supported one bit.

It's more fun.

Gameplay is what matters most, and unlike helldivers, EDF doesnt nerf every weapon to borderline useless, and has actual responsive movement and controls. Plus helldivers cant even sing, they hav no pride for their team. EDF air strikes are way larger than helldivers can handle, and the battles are way larger and epic. Best helldivers got is a pathetic 500kg bomb...

I hope you've been enjoying it? Made any changes to your approach? Im not going to get into ranked because the world tour is fun, it's basically what ranked tournament was before Terminal Attack, right? People primarily chasing S3 ranked might be missing the main point of The Finals just to chase a virtual shiny ranked badge and I feel that's making them salty to participate. S2 I enjoyed Heavy-ing, fantastic class. S3 has been a bit painful maining as a Light with the recurve bow, thermite and grappling hook but it is an incredibly fun pace compared with the Heavy. So, still enjoying it and happy to look past the Terminal Attack ranked palava. Kyoto's bamboo hill is the most annoying thing to be honest, if you don't have an automatic weapon you're killing panda food instead of the enemies!
